Greg Lauren previewed his Fall/Winter 2016 Menswear collection on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 as part of New York Fashion Week: Mens at ARTBEAM.
The collection was an exploration of the “hero” archetype, reinvented in six vignettes across a diverse range of characters which explore, question, celebrate and then reinterpret the classic notion of masculinity. Greg Lauren’s world is all at once a blend of the nomad, the artist, the fighter, the dandy, and the superhero. The epicenter of the presentation was a boxing ring in which two fighters sparred and shadow-boxed throughout the entire evening, a representation of Greg’s belief that we are all fighting for something.
